The Families First Coronavirus Response Act, which goes into effect on April 1, provides for paid family and medical leave, paid sick time, and tax credits for the paid leave to address the COVID-19 pandemic. Lindsay Dennis Swiger, an employment attorney at Jackson Lewis P.C., will provide guidance for employers on the Act’s family leave and paid sick time requirements.
