We are in a very competitive market for today’s top management talent. A vast majority of large companies use executive non-qualified benefits in order to attract, recruit and retain their talent. More and more, mid-market employers-and even small employers-are adopting these benefits as well.
Because benefits under tax-qualified plans are limited by law – and highly compensated employees are often further disadvantaged by the results of legally imposed discrimination testing – executives need supplemental sources of benefits to help restore reduced or lost benefits.
