COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates, Testing Measures, Incentives, and more

With the rapidly evolving COVID-19 issues facing employers, we will discuss the current compliance issues around mandating the COVID-19 vaccine or offering employees incentives, including reasonable accommodations required under the ADA and Title VII.  Issues related to routine COVID-19 testing will also be addressed along with the status of paid leave issues and “long haul” COVID issues.

About Paula Day

Paula Day is the Vice President and Director of HR Compliance Consulting with Lockton Companies.  In this role she advises Lockton’s benefit clients on matters involving HR-related compliance concerns including issues involving Title VII, ADA, FMLA and related laws; paid leave laws; and guidance on complex terminations. She has nearly 30 years of experience as a practicing attorney and has specialized in labor and employment law for over 20 years.  Prior to joining Lockton, Paula was Senior Counsel of Labor & Employment for a holding company for multiple large trucking companies with an extensive transportation network throughout North America. Prior to working in a corporate environment, Paula was in private practice focusing on employment law and defending and advising employers.
